Published within 40 minutes of the embargo lift.> Refined the clarity of an investigate greenwashing exposé that used data from freedom of information requests, directly cited as catalysing reform of the University of Sydney Union’s fossil fuel divestment strategy for its $12 million portfolio.

Elevated the quality of water management procedures at Taronga Zoo by supporting and then leading investigations into seal enclosure water discharges across two summer internships (Dec 2019-Feb 2020; Dec 2020-Feb 2021), helping to bring them in alignment with new environmental legislation.> Coordinated a team of zookeepers, water technicians, volunteers, project managers, a consultant, and a water analysis company to ensure the on-time collection and analysis of contamination levels in 85 water discharge samples.> Prepared a presentation for the Environmental Protection Authority to credibly demonstrate the zoo’s progress towards compliance, using water sample data processed in Excel to demonstrate where changes should be implemented.> Designed the CAD models for a $167,000 breeding facility for the critically endangered Booroolong frog based on consultation with the zookeeper and feedback on a similar facility for the Northern Corroboree Frog. Oversaw the on-time and on-budget delivery of the breedingfacility’s external housing based on my CAD models.
