I currently still work here as a customer service representative. I'm a crossed trained agent that works in two departments.One of the departments I work in is Bank of America Cardholder Services. In this department I assist customers with balance inquiries, funds transfers, emergency cash transfers and assistance with their online accounts. I also assist with card replacements, card activations and pin resets.The other department is Employees Retirement System of Texas (ERS). My job in this department is to help our members which are state employees and retirees with adding or dropping their dependent's to their state health insurances and also adding members to dental, life, short term and long term disability. I also assist members with educating them on their premiums other options that are available to them as retirees or state employees. Another service I help our members is with the withdrawal of their retirements and designation of beneficiaries for their annuities and/or life insurance benefits.

Package Handler

I worked the morning shift usually from 5am to 9:30 am Monday-Friday. My job was to load the UPS trucks with the packages that come in from out of town. It was a very physical demanding job. They also had me unload the trailers and put me wherever they needed help that day.I had to leave this job due to an spine injury i had while i was on my week of vacation. I herniated my disc and needed surgery and i never went back to UPS after my surgery.
