ARCOUR is a project I developed alongside other students at Digital House, an educational institution offering various training programs, including full-stack web development. The objective of the project was to create a web application providing aviation services between three countries: Colombia, Argentina, and Uruguay. To achieve this, we utilized a range of technologies and tools both in the front-end and back-end development.In the front-end, we employed HTML, CSS, and JavaScript to design the user interface and client-side functionalities. Additionally, we utilized React, a JavaScript library, to develop a dashboard with supplementary data, which interfaced with a REST API connecting to the database.On the back-end, we utilized Express.js, a Node.js framework, to build the server and REST API, facilitating communication with the database. The database employed was MySQL, a relational database management system. For JavaScript database management, we leveraged Sequelize, the most widely used ORM for Node.js, enabling straightforward organization of our data in all aspects.Furthermore, we developed a React Dashboard featuring data aiding comprehension of the information displayed in the project. This dashboard was also connected to a REST API linking to the database from the back-end, performing its respective fetch in React using hooks.The entire project was executed following the principles of agile methodologies (Scrum), and Git was utilized for version control and collaborative work within a private repository.
