After graduating from the University of Alabama with a Bachelor's degree in Finance and a Master's in Economics, I spent a year and a half as a Product Strategy Analyst with GEICO in Chevy Chase, MD. In my time with GEICO, I honed numerous specific skills such as SAS programming, Excel, and database navigation while also focusing on soft skills such as group communication, time management, and analytical insight. I then moved to Columbus, Ohio taking a role as a financial analyst at L Brands, now Bath & Body Works. After building my skills for a few years in Retail Operations finance, I'm currently a senior financial analyst for the Stores Finance team, quantifying the effects of our real estate activity on our sales results.I thrive in organizations which keep a guiding principal or goal in their focus. I highly value when integrity is among a company's core operating values, and I believe that one must act with integrity in their work to act with integrity elsewhere in life.I am internally motivated and constantly search for ways to better myself; I find individual work to be a wonderful opportunity for personal improvement. However, I also strongly enjoy group work and think that few things are more valuable than using one's own skills to help teammates approach their full potential.
