I am writing to outline my extensive experience and successful track record over 9 years of offshore drilling operations. I believe I possess the skills, qualifications and vital experience necessary to make a very significant contribution to your organization.I have been working as Main well Assistant Driller on both 6th and 7th generation dual activity drill ships with a 10,000 -12,000 foot depth rating. I have gained an excellent insight into the problems encountered when starting up a new vessel and how to solve them most effectively as I was part of the crew involved in commissioning the Olympia from shipyard. The vessels I have worked on have successfully completed wells in Ghana, Ivory Coast, Gabon, Senegal and Angola. As such I have been involved in all aspects of dynamic positioned, ultra deep water drilling operations.I am a highly motivated worker with extensive experience gained undertaking Assistant Driller and Derrickman roles within offshore drilling operations in Ghana, Gabon, Ivory Coast, Angola, Senegal, Libya and the North Sea. I also possess a comprehensive knowledge of drilling practices, procedures and regulatory standards. I have also acted as Aux well driller on several occasions when required and am a competent operator all drill floor equipment.My work experience is complemented by industry recognised qualifications and accreditations including NOV Cyber base, IWCF level 4 subsea well control, G 20 Crane operator, Advanced First Aid, FOET, Lifeboat coxswain and Rescue at Height.Throughout my career I have demonstrated attention to detail when undertaking drilling operations and during the preparation of key rig activities. I am organised with excellent management skills and a strong team player, proven in motivating and developing multi-national teams that exceed objectives and safety standards.
