Worked as a layout engineer at Mercer Commons (Condominium / Parking Garage) in Over the Rhine.Managed the layout of garage entrances. Design / layout of bollard location, grade transitions, stairs, electrical equipment.Work consisted of utilizing surveying equipment to provide construction crew with detailed control. Gained proficiency with using manual total station, plumb bob, targets, and Topcon handheld with Survey Pro software.Managed an Easter Seals employee (an employee with previous legal record) with construction quality control tracking. Trained him in surveying and layout best practices. Worked as a layout engineer for Cincinnati Children’s Hospital Location T research tower. Work consisted of using a total station (Surveying Robot which communicates “x,y” coordinates from blueprints) to communicate building control to carpenters and sub-contractors on site.

Assisted structural engineers to design commercial structures. Attended client facilities to review existing structures and document detailed descriptions and as built dimension for in-office design.Visited Dayton Power and Lighting to design multiple steel platforms. As built structures in the field and modeled them in AutoCAD.Worked with renovation department to review Great American Ball Park seating, developed excel file to efficiently analyze the present condition of 42 thousand seats we inspected for warranty purposes. Performed preliminary investigations for Xavier Church in downtown Cincinnati. Took pictures as well as field measurements to document the existing structure. This information was used to design an addition to the church.Performed, research, shop drawing review, bid tabulation, specification editing.

- Served as VP of Operations for the Sigma Phi Epsilon, Ohio Theta chapter.- I was charged with the responsibility of leasing the rooms of the chapter house, facility upkeep/ maintenance as well as the daily operations.- Created an excel file / program to efficiently carry out room assignments based off our point system.- Served as the president of the Risk Management Team, an initiative started to mitigate the chapter’s risk during organized events.

- Conducted undergraduate research on “Drop Surface Interfacial Manipulations for Micro fluidic Devices: Characterizing Droplet Behavior,”- Redesigned the testing apparatus to eliminate human error when dropping the liquids, improving reliability of findings.- Research was used to improve the findings of a PHD student’s thesis. Presentation of findings was made to faculty and staff of University of Cincinnati.
