This work requires me to assist in SCUBA training exercises, as well as perform my own guides for clients. Guides include setting up dive locations, dive planning, verifying functionality of client equipment, and execution of the dive plan.

While obtaining my MS in Ocean Engineering, I worked as a graduate research assistant (GRA) assisting in the development of a non-destructive technique for detecting pre-cracking corrosion in reinforced concrete structures. My work consisted of testing on reinforced samples using a transducer in tandem with a TR switch which connects to a pulse generator.

This project was assigned as a contract with a private company to perform resistance analysis on a drop stitch panel. My tasks included the design and fabrication of the testing assembly to hold the panel, purchasing of materials, assembly of the testing setup, performing testing, post-test data processing, and report writing. The testing involved a heat.
