During the summer of 2021, I held a summer internship at Johns Hopkins University Applied Physics Laboratory in the Research and Exploratory Development Department. There, I worked on a variety of projects ranging from complex assemblies in CAD, cabling electronics boxes, 3D printing, green energy research, novel prototyping for research projects, being published in a technical digest and giving presentations to government sponsors.

Also at the University of Virginia, I work as and as a lab assistant in the university's rapid prototyping lab. I get to operate and maintain 3D printers and fulfil orders that are sent to the lab. This has been a great opportunity to get real hands-on experience in an engineering-related job.

At University of Virginia, my first opportunity for engineering-related work was my job as an undergraduate teaching assistant for an introduction to engineering class. I got to work with the professor, other TAs, and most importantly, the students. I assisted the professor with the class by creating and grading assignments related to the course. In addition, I got to hold office hours and help students with their CAD projects, electronics kits, and any other questions they had. I held this position in the Fall of 2020 and again in the Fall of 2021.
