As a Med/Surg nurse, I am responsible for maintaining and coordinating a patient team and performing nursing skills. The floor I worked on specializes in Cystic Fibrosis, Diabetes, and Adolescent Health/Behavioral Health. This floor has allowed me to become an effective team player, make good use of time management, and use critical thinking daily. In this role, I was also responsible for precepting and educating new RN hires and nursing students.

As a Circulating Nurse, I performed all tasks and duties outside the sterile field during surgery.
