With over six years of experience in the retail industry, I have developed core competencies in customer service, coaching, and ethical sourcing. My mission is to help businesses and organisations incorporate ethical retail elements into their offerings, and to support local and sustainable makers and products. As the Director of The Ethical Gift Shop, I lead a team of service providers who work with clients across various sectors and locations.Before founding The Ethical Gift Shop, I was the owner of MILA, a houseplants, homewares, and lifestyle store based in Bristol. I managed all aspects of the business, from sourcing and supplying tropical indoor plants and local crafts, to creating a beautiful and inviting store environment, to delivering excellent customer service and satisfaction. I also coached and mentored my staff, and fostered a culture of creativity, collaboration, and fun. Through MILA, I gained valuable skills in retail management, marketing, and branding, as well as a passion for sustainability and social responsibility.
