In this role, I work in the Biscuit (Cookie), Cones, Wafers and Cracker divisions, where as a Product Developer I support the organization in various roles which include.- New product development (innovation, clean label initiatives, cost reductions, commercialization)- New line start ups - Continuous improvements- Lab analysis and sensory testing- Statistical validation of control limits and specifications- Ingredient technology

In this role, I was responsible for developing and controlling formulations and manufacturing procedures-New product development-developing retorted or other heat processed products for both government and commercial accounts.-Troubleshooting production, working closely with Quality Assurance and other departments in regards to sanitation, food quality and safety.-Products developed from benchtop to commercialization include organic and non-organic sauces and marinades (Hains Organic Simmer Sauces: Louisiana Creole, Portobello Red Wine, Thai Coconut Curry, Latin Vera Cruz; Kathryn’s Kitchen), MREs (Military, FEMA) as well as organic and non-organic smoothies, yogurts and puddings (Bumblebee Snack Packs; Global Foods; ConAgra).
