I've always wanted to help people through the ever-complicated field of medicine. The many challenges that those in the health care industry face require more and more complex solutions as our society evolves. At UF, I am on the Pre-Medicine track, with aspirations of medical school. I am pursuing a B.A. in Philosophy to help me think critically about the issues that will arise when I (hopefully) join the health care industry. I am also on track to attain a minor in Economics, with the hopes that this concentration will help me better understand the health care system as a whole. If you couldn't tell, learning is a passion of mine, so I am especially interested in opportunities that would allow me to have a hands-on experience in health care, such as shadowing a doctor or volunteering in a clinical environment.
