Data scientist with a drive to build solutions that solve real problems, often with an innovative approach. Extravertive, enthusiastic, and driven for efficiency. Experienced in statistical analysis, computer programming, and Machine Learning. Currently seeking a position in Data Science with growth opportunities into Product Management or similar field.As the son of two MDs (and as family to many more), the joys and challenges clinicians face every day were a big part of my upbringing. I always planned to follow that path as well, and spent most of my undergrad as a dedicated pre-med. However, after taking courses in Computer Programming and Algorithmic Design, I discovered a passion for Data Science and AI that became an ever larger part of my life. Eventually, I realized that I could use my skills to solve the problems that clinicians like my parents faced every day. To get that training, I gave up my Medical School application in favor of Duke's Master of Management in Clinical Informatics (MMCi) program, where we received training on practical implementation of innovative solutions. This included courses in Data Science, Artificial Intelligence, and Healthcare technology; as well as courses in Managerial Accounting, Supply chain, and Finance.Though my background is in healthcare, I believe that there is a lot to learn from how each different field solves problems. As such, I'm not limiting my search to any one field specifically. Rather, I'm looking for a position where I can use my skills and background to build solutions to real problems. Additionally, I aim to be close enough to implementation to get practical experience and mentorship to grow into a product management role. Happy to connect!
