My team and I were responsible for the maintenance of all water, stormwater, and wastewater utilities in Lebanon. I worked closely with an experienced team that helped me learn the interworkings of the water and sewer systems.I joined the water department after my senior year of high school with no prior experience in this field. I began to develop a liking for this field as I became more experienced. I learned how to install valves, fire hydrants, meters, and other related systems along with repairing existing water infrastructure.Sucess included meeting yearly quotas for catch basin repairs, fire hydrant repairs, and sanitary sewer inspections. Also, the upkeep of water meters and repairing mains was very important to provide safe water to the citizens of Lebanon while issuing accurate bills for water usage.
