About Samuel Tamassia Martinez
With more than 14 years working with technology, I've always enjoyed solving problems (maybe a bit nerdy!). Starting as a software engineer, I found joy in debugging, reading code, writing code as well, and, of course, testing it. I am also very curious and really like to understand how software is built and what its architecture is. Above all, I think that what really drives me is seeing value in my deliveries; because at the end of the day, nothing matters if what we've created isn't used.In recent years, I've started exploring management, mostly out of curiosity and to discover how things work 'on the other side of the wall'. During this journey, I've learned a lot and, without a doubt, I see that soft skills are a must, even if you're an engineer! Now I believe there is much more to learn, but that's the fun part, gaining new skills.With that said, here are some points I think are important:- Always be respectful, it helps in any role you're in.- Helping others is nice, because I appreciate when others help me.- Technology is a TOOL we use to deliver VALUE with our work.- Peaceful workplaces are the best ones.- Something is wrong if I'm not learning anything.That's it!
