• Provide technical engineering support for a broad product range, including PRIMEPOWER and SPARC Enterprise Servers Solaris-based Enterprise Unix servers, Primergy, Intel-based server line, Storage Area Networks (SAN), and Network Attached Storage (NAS) systems, including Fujitsu, EMC and NetApp storage.• Key member of several strategic teams, including the Intel server team, SAP team, and Solaris server team. • Developed and delivered technical product and solution based presentations to customers. • Key member of the team that designed and implemented a leading edge Global Windows NT–based server infrastructure as a part of Global Information Link (GIL) project that deployed a common NT desktop and server environment to nearly 30,000 users worldwide. The common environment improved communication and service levels within the corporation and reduced costs by $50 Million per year. Team received commendation for the Project from the corporation. • As a result was assigned to provide third level support for the global NT infrastructure and Microsoft IIS WEB servers. • Responsible for the coordination and participation of several on large IT project deployments that were national and worldwide in scope.• Designed and implemented a stand-alone Plant Information Network and Plant Control Network for a new chemical plant in Saudi Arabia. The project was successfully completed on time and under budget

• Managed the six Systems Programmers in the Database Systems group that supported ten database systems including the installation and support of DB2. • Successfully led Operations Automation project team, responsible for identifying and recommending processes that should be improved through automation. Then participated in the redesign and deployment of the recommendations. • Played a significant role in a multiple data center standardization project. • Diagnosed and solved DB2 system and performance problems that resulted in a 400% performance improvement. • In conjunction with the system programming team, diagnosed and solved MVS performance problems that resulted in 800% improvements in availability.
