Video games have always been my passion, and even as the industry proves tumultuous, there's nowhere I'd rather be. While I initially went to school for computer engineering, my professional experience started when I began freelance work as a games journalist. I've worked for over four years at some of the largest digital media companies in the world across multiple brands. I've become experienced with all types of written features and news reports. That also meant becoming familiar with working under embargo and the levels of detail required for sensitive reports that require months of work, as well as learning team-building, communication, and triaging critical information in a timely manner.In my spare time outside of games, I enjoy reading, playing guitar, and working out. More recently, I've had a great time running tabletop RPG sessions for friends and dabbling into assembling and painting Warhammer miniatures.
