I have worked in the construction field for most of my early life and even off and on while in college. I graduated from the University of Texas at Tyler in 2020 with a degree in Construction Management. I am now employed at Jackson Construction and working with the amazing team in East Texas. My commercial work experience before gradation included several months working as an Assistant Superintendent with the general contractor AECOM Hunt Construction, and also a internship working as an Assistant Project Manager at Jordan Foster Construction. After graduating I started working for Largo Concrete in Dallas as a project engineer. At Largo I worked with an amazing team of individuals on a fast paced projects. I am now working as a Project Engineer at Jackson Construction with their amazing team in East Texas. Jackson Construction specializes in build schools, clinics, and other public facilities. On top of these commercial construction experiences I have also spend many years in residential construction. I worked by myself and with my brothers on many projects, building additions on houses and doing full house remodels. Doing these projects are what got me interested in the construction industry and lead me to the career I love to this day.I thank God every day for the amazing life experiences he has given me and the people he has let me meet and work with throughout the years. I am fortunate to have the experience I have today and to be working with such good people at a company that takes care of its employees.

It has a strong presence in California and it’s surrounding states and is rapidly expanding into Texas.While at Largo Concrete I worked as a Project Engineer on their 8111 Douglas Ave project. This project was two buildings in one project complete with an above ground garage and recreational area connecting them. On the one side the project was a 13 floor building with +A Retail Offices while the other side was a 15 floor residential tower that featured luxury residential apartments.My time at Largo was focused mainly on the quality assurance of the concrete decks being poured and making sure they met the project specifications. This required working along side the third party inspection company to get decks signed off and ready to pour. I also was responsible for helping coordinate the project by keeping up with materials required throughout construction of the project, the scheduling of concrete and it’s quantity that would be required for each deck pour, and all other issues that arose on a day to day bases. On top of my other responsibilities I was also responsible for keeping up with the payroll of 60-170 employees that we had on the project as it progressed through construction. -

The first project I Worked on was Parkview at Southlake Town Square. When I came to this project it was already starting the close in prosses and was nearing its completion. I helped with the calendar scheduling of the project and documentation of the Condominiums progress. The second project I worked at was Hyatt Place TCU. This project was just being kicked off when I joined them and was starting work on putting down the buildings foundational rebar and concrete. While on the Hyatt Place project I helped by sending off change orders and keeping track of completed items in the structural documents. -
