With the Outreach Team I served as a canvassing team leader in the Georgia Senate runoff election for two clients - Save Our Senate and the Black Progressive Action Coalition.►Responsible for executing and improving the campaigns' field marketing, results, and growth initiatives. ►In addition to training canvassers, evaluating and analyzing their performance, and planning and managing field logistics, I also ensured my teams of up to six people had the skills, resources, and support necessary to successfully execute the campaigns' strategies. ►Attended a team leader briefing and debriefing every shift. Practiced due diligence in informing my teammates of local canvassing and voting laws/ordinances, updated policies and procedures, and relevant political developments on a daily basis. ►Troubleshooted and creatively developed solutions for my teammates when they had questions, concerns, or problems on the field.►Throughout the two campaigns we knocked on over 60,000 doors and had over 10,000 face-to-face conversations with targeted voters. We outperformed our target goals for knocks, contacts, and shifts sent out on both campaigns.►Enforced compliance with Covid-19 health and safety measures daily. I was in charge of documenting and reporting temperatures, distributing personal protective equipment, having my teammates fill out a health and safety questionnaire, and correcting any behaviors counter to our health and safety priorities.
