Created a simulation of a rigid body in space using C++ and mathematica. The mathematics background is in linear algebra, Lie algebras, and discrete time Calculus of Variations. The core of the project was a variational integrator. C++ generated datafiles readable by mathematica, and 3D models of both attitude and path were generated.
