In my freshman year of high school, I enrolled in a marketing class which sparked a profound passion within me. From then on, I found joy in analyzing products, contemplating strategies to boost their sales, fostering consumer trust, and capturing their attention. This passion led me to pursue a bachelor's degree in marketing with a minor in communications at Old Dominion University, where I diligently honed my skills while concurrently establishing a reputation as a hardworking, loyal, and dependable employee across various roles.During the summer of 2022, I seized the opportunity to intern at AMF Bakery in Richmond, VA. Here, I helped the marketing department contribute to the promotion of the largest bakery trade show globally, IBIE. My responsibilities included crafting signage, updating the website, enhancing the brand catalog, and spearheading innovative strategies to promote our new app. This hands-on experience provided invaluable insights into business operations and solidified my readiness for the professional realm.Currently, as of March 2024, I am in my final semester at ODU and employed as a server at Norfolk Yacht and Country Club. This role demands effective communication bridging members and the back-of-house team, coupled with the ability to swiftly establish rapport and trust with clientele. As I prepare to graduate this semester, I am eagerly seeking new opportunities in the realms of marketing or sales, be it through internships or full-time positions, to further cultivate my passion and contribute meaningfully to the industry. If there are any questions or want to contact me directly, you can reach me at spvitello@gmail.com or svite003@odu.edu.
