Responsible for the technical development of SCADA, Protection and Microgrid systems across a wide range of industries.

Investigated the network impacts that Microgrids have on the low-voltage and medium-voltage distribution networks of Ergon Energy based on a variety of control modes. Specifically looked into the emergence of individual residential Microgrids made possible by the improvements of home energy storage using batteries.

I successfully completed a waste management internship project at the Parmalat dairy processing factory in Brisbane. I was tasked with finding innovative and creative new ways to tackle the mechanical and cultural challenges that contributed to profit loss through unnecessary waste in the dairy processing plant. After the initial analysis I was invited back to implement my recommendations.Achievements: I successfully identified over $2 million worth of product loss per annum and helped implement new strategies that resulted in $300,000 worth of savings per year. The success of this internship relied on my interpersonal skills and my ability to communicate broadly across all levels of staff and management.

Managed the crust team during days and nights when the manager wasn’t available for work. Was responsible for opening and closing of the store, as well as handling store settlements at the end of each of my shifts. Coordinated the store drivers and pizza makers while also handling any customer concerns or questions.
