Hello! My name is Sam Westrick, and I am a current Aerospace Engineering student at California Polytechnic State University, San Luis Obipso, with a concentration in astronautics. I will be graduating in June 2022, and am looking for either an internship or a full-time job in the aerospace industry. I am involved in PROVE Lab, a club at Cal Poly where we have built a solar powered vehicle and are attempting to break the world record for the fastest solar powered vehicle. I was heavily involved in the manufacturing of the vehicle and currently assist with testing operations.I work an on-campus job as an assistant to the Equipment Technician of the Aerospace Engineering Department, where I help keep equipment in the aerospace laboratories functional. Some academic quarters I work as an Instructional Student Assistant for professors in the Aerospace Engineering Department, creating and grading assignments, quizzes, and exams, and holding office hours for students.
