Service Manager
CurrentEffectively manage a team of crew members to balance the achievement of an excellent customer dining experience with the effective and conservative use of employee labor. Play an active part in the recruitment process, including contacting prospective employees, conducting interviews, and filing documentation to finalize onboarding. Maintain a comprehensive knowledge of all active aspects of the restaurant, and work to train employees in various positions, as well as help build a feeling of solidarity and respect in both current and incoming employees. Handle company financial assets daily, including extensive cash handling, ordering of kitchen supplies and foodstuffs, extensive and complete counting of restaurant inventory, and management of the requisition, oversight, and payment of work orders to maintain the building.
