Sam Winslow is a Millersville University graduate with a major in communications, a focus in public relations, and a minor in government. While in school Sam worked with a local nonprofit called 2 Seconds or Less to create media outreach and network on the organization's behalf. Shortly after graduating, Sam was hired by the rapidly growing insurance brokerage Cypress Benefits Group. Hired originally to fill the role of a client service representative, Sam grew to learn the industry and build meaningful relationships with the companies he represented. While managing his clients with a high standard of service, Sam took on the additional challenge of marketing Cypress through promotional campaigns, social media, and acquiring government certifications. These actions were part of what helped Cypress grow and resulted in Sam becoming the company's Director of Communications. After providing exceptional service for a number of years Sam was promoted to the position of Executive Vice President. Duties as EVP include managing all aspects of running the business from day to day while continuing to service clients.
