Coding and Linux are my bread and butter, plain and simple. Moreover, when I'm faced with a challenge, I will work as hard as I can to find a solution to it.My interest for coding in general started out when I was in middle school, where I was developing my own games on ROBLOX. At the time, I saw myself becoming an indie video game developer creating and publishing games. However, something wasn't exactly clicking with me in this position the more time I spent in it. I was concerned about how I would grow as a developer and was uncertain if it was a viable career path, knowing the shady business practices that dwell within the industry.After I graduated high school in the summer of 2017, I started as an intern at Jonaco Machine. Initially, my job was to help with various projects in the company like collecting tools and gauges for calibration or keeping inventory of manufactured parts. However, once Jonaco was introduced to the Prolink line-up of software for data collection, I discovered a place to focus my coding skills in.When I was introduced to QC-Gage and QC-Real Time, I was given the task of creating spec plans for machinists and inspectors to use for data collection. But soon enough, I was working with Prolink's SPC Office Buddy software to create Excel templates for reporting, where I found out that the software can call macros within the spreadsheet. At that moment, I found the perfect outlet for the skills I've carefully built up over the past decade. I wanted to work with and build software that aided in the area of data collection.Since then, I've become the driving force behind the company's data collection, the network of Raspberry Pi computers that use Prolink software, the web server that allows us to view dashboards through a web browser, and I've developed apps that aid Prolink in data collection. There do come times where I hit what seems to be a major roadblock in a project I'm working on, but because I am very focused when it comes to problem solving, I will always find a solution no matter what it is stopping me.I am proficient in the following programming languages:- C++- Java- JavaScript- PHP- PythonI am also knowledgeable in HTML, CSS, C, Git/Github, and I also know the ins and outs of the Raspberry Pi and its namesake Linux distribution.In my spare time, I continue to learn more about other languages like C# and SQL, other frameworks like Node.js, and useful skills like penetration testing.
