Vice President Transmission Construction And Maintenance
Current• Manages and directs overall activities of field services that are responsible for constructing and maintaining the LCRA Transmission System and providing various services to internal and external LCRA customers• Develops and implements departmental management systems, annual budgets, work priorities, related schedules, and long-term strategic plans • Provides strategic planning and vision for overall direction of department and how its work accomplishes LCRA's mission• Provides leadership and direction to staff. Hires, trains, promotes, assigns work, evaluates, and manages performance and handles all aspects of staff supervision. Maintains awareness of department issues and responds to employee needs and concerns. Communicates with employees to ensure accurate and timely dissemination of information.• Develops and/or implements policies and procedures.• Manages internal and external resources to provide required services. • Establishes and maintains business practices, prepares proposals, establishes commitments, and ensures customer satisfacation.• Leads staff to evaluate and propose use of innovative technologies and new practices. • Develops technical and leadership skills within department.• Develops and manages multiple department budgets. • Ensures appropriate records are maintained for personnel, budget requirements, capital equipment, management systems, policies, and procedures.• Provides oversight and testimony, as necessary, in regulatory and legal proceedings such as transmission cost of service rate cases.• Makes presentations to LCRA management, LCRA Board and LCRA customers as required.
