Technologies include Objective C and Swift, using the XCode IDE for IOS; Java and XML, using Android Studio for Android development; C#, JavaScript, HTML, and SCSS for desktop browser development. • Improved patient experience within the MyChart application by simplifying the pre-check-in workflow and implementing enhancements to the appointment details page. • Developed on-demand video visit features within the mobile MyChart application. Features include a patient wait time component and a hardware test capability.• Recognized the benefit of and developed a base abstract banner class that is shared within the team to provide a consistent user experience. • Utilized and implemented minor modifications to a proprietary data access API. • Employed responsive web design principles using HTML, SCSS, and JavaScript to include the hardware testing during video visit scheduling for mobile, and provided enhancements to correct bug found by quality assurance. • Acted as coordinator and developer for a project that ensures patients are properly authorized to schedule an on-demand video visit within the MyChart application. • Participated regularly in peer code reviews as part of programming quality assurance.

Implemented a Proof-of-Concept for the Telehealth team. Technologies included Objective C and Swift, using the XCode IDE for IOS.• Developed the capability for a patient to take a photo using a mobile device and then send the photo to the doctor, during an on-demand video visit. • Implemented a local host application on a server that converted the sent image(s) into a transmittable string which was received and converted back to a digital image by the application on the receiving end of the video visit.• Completed the project before the summer internship’s conclusion, so further development was done to allow multiple photos to be taken and sent during the video visit.
