I have over ten years of experience in public practice accounting including over a year as Partner with Nineteen Seventeen Chartered Professional Accountants LLP, almost two years as an Expatriate Tax Manager at CompassTAX LLP and most recently as Tax Manager at Gregory, Harriman & Associates LLP. Over the course of my career I have gained a wide variety of Canadian taxation and accounting experience, with a specific focus on accounting and taxation for Canadian Small Business Corporations and their owners. Since obtaining my Chartered Accountant designation in 2012, I have placed an importance on continuing to learn and expand my knowledge in the areas of Canadian corporate and personal taxation. I also successfully completed CPA Canada's In-Depth Tax program in July 2017.Through my most recent experience as a Tax Manager I have gained a passion for specialized tax work and tax planning for individuals and private companies. My focus and strength is in the area of corporate reorganizations and estate tax planning, and while I am always striving to build on my expertise in these areas, I also place a continued importance on developing a wide breadth of knowledge and experience in all areas of Canadian taxation.
