A bit of trivia about Samuel - he is a courageous, selfless individual who once rescued an accident victim from a flipped car that was leaking gasoline, managing to send the victim to the hospital in time.Samuel Ang is currently completing his studies in Taylor's University, Malaysia, in the Bachelors of Mass Communication (Hons.) (Public Relations & Event Management) undergraduate programme. A creative individual who displays INFP personality attributes, amongst which includes a keen sense for artistic pursuits, naturally inquisitive and curious as well as having a way with words. These characteristics, when paired with his fascination for the world that is ever changing in trends and culture, makes him an ideal candidate to excel in the field of his passions - event management and planning and public relations.An ambitious person who is goal-oriented and results-focused, Samuel is an avid believer that education is the key to success but does not believe that the saying only applies to formal education. Hence, he is not one to pass up on opportunities to learn outside of the classroom, acquiring skills and experiences various occupations and part-time work whilestill studying at Taylor’s university. These skills include but are not limited to networking, consumer psychology, public speaking and adaptability.Despite being categorised as an introvert, Samuel has no qualms about leadership responsibilities when it is needed, especially for causes which he is actively interested and passionate about. He demonstrated this when he assumed the responsibilities of a vice-president for the well-being club and the role of treasurer for the debate club while in college. He is also an advocate of human rights and is very outspoken about his beliefs. This can be seen in his efforts in volunteering for community projects as well as his participation in the debate club and events such as the Model United Nations.Samuel also thrives well under pressure, especially when he enjoys doing work such as planning and coordinating many events, often on short-notice and with very minimal support. He is also quite adaptable as a person, fitting in easily in different environments and able to work efficiently and independently and with different teams.Samuel strives to become a professional in the field of public relations and event management to help achieve his goal of creating a south-east asian based non-profit organisation that helps advocate for every child's right to education and to fight against under age marriage.
