While at the Law society I honed my skills as a graphic designer. I learnt as much as I could from my design manager / mentor. I worked on everything from flyers, business cards, posters, web graphics, social media images / video, company singlets, conference promotional material and corporate head shots. I thoroughly enjoyed working as a team, managing workflow through prioritisation and assessing and implementing process improvement. As a team we were completely focused on proving excellent service to internal and external clients. Something I strive for not only in the work environment but also in my personal life.

My job at Coles is to maintain stock levels and ensure we have excellent availability for all our customers. My daily tasks include locating stock that is in the store but not on the shelf, therefore making sure our customers have access to everything and anything we offer.I was hired as part of the original team at Coles Indooroopilly, Queensland's first next generation food super store.

Assisting in graphic design over a thirteen day placement.I helped iterate designs for brochures, wedding invitations, business cards, flyers and posters. I assisted in simple tedious tasks like rounding corners on business cards and laminating sport team photos.I helped assemble promotional flag material.All the while observing the head designer and how she dealt with clients and calmly managing the same issues relating to file size and quality on a daily basis. I also had the privilege of seeing and learning about a historical german offset printer that was still in use by Queensland Media Print.
