I work with both undergraduate and graduate Chemical Engineering students at the University of Virginia to ensure they have all the resources they need to be successful and fulfilled in their program. I serve as students' main point of contact for any administrative questions, guiding them through the different processes required of them and connecting them to appropriate resources that will benefit their studies and well-being. I also work to recruit incoming undergraduate students to the Chemical Engineering major and with incoming graduate students to transition them into our Ph.D. program.

I provided educational resources, important reminders, and friendly support to a caseload of 400+ college students and young professionals from first-gen and low income backgrounds as they navigate post-secondary life.

I served a 10 month AmeriCorps term as a College Access Coach for College Forward. I worked with High School Juniors and Seniors and helped them reach their post-secondary goals, whatever that looks like for them. I led twice-weekly after-school meetings and communicated with students individually to ensure they can make informed decisions about their future.

This role included operating a cash register, counting change, answering phones, selling merchandise, and customer service.

This position had me writing weekly articles for The Odyssey, an online forum for writers everywhere.
