Nearly 4 decades as a licensed cosmetologist (self proclaimed Hair Rescue Artist) has allowed me many opportunities to express my creativity & to learn what exceptional customer service fully entails. Going above & beyond what is expected, both by my clients & my bosses, learning how to communicate in a way that shows my knowledge & expertise, & learning how to truly listen & address the issues in a real & honest way while remaining flexible for the unexpected.During the last 15 years I have had some amazing opportunities to step out of my comfort zone & into some positions within various industries. From Retail Associate to Senior House Mentor/Administrative Assistant at HopeQuest Ministry Group to Inventory Control Team Lead, I have been blessed to learn from some of the best in each of those industries. I must admit, I have a geeky administrative side, which along with my organizational skills has gotten me recognized and promoted rather quickly regardless of the industry. I don't say that to pat myself on the back, but to share that I am a hard worker, quick learner, and enjoy managerial positions.I also enjoy learning anything new from software to hands-on trades. When I am not at work I love anything outdoors, but am guilty of vegging out on all the HGTV fixer upper and flip flop shows. I get excited about taking something that is old & outdated & re-purposing it & giving it a new life. Some of my friends see that crossing over into a more personable outlet. I do believe that we never stop learning. Even the ugly & hard times can teach us so much. After all, mistakes are just unlearned lessons. I am hoping to join a team that values customer service as much as I do. A team that gives back to the community. A team that works hard, but has fun doing so. Is that your team?
