I am an IT generalist who acquired a large scope of skills and profesional exeriences during 16 years in a big international company. I have been working as the interface between IT technicians, system administrators and developers with business representatives and management. I also have the opportunity to manage large projects, support coordination and provide training sessions in French or English on various IT topics.In parallel to my career in IT and organization, I have been trained in two areas that have captivated me particularly: sustainable development and Free & Open Source Software.Regarding sustainable development, I could put it into practice in two different projects: a communication event and a green initiative in a professional context. I also developed skills in life-cycle assessments, GreenIT, adult training, ISO 14'001 and Environmental Management Systems.Free and open source software (FOSS) fascinates me as well because of its underlying participative model, of its transparency, efficiency and because of its links with sustainable development.I joined both subjects together in the promotion of free software in the sustainable development festival in Geneva in 2009 and 2011. Free software and independence, privacy and ethics in Internet are the main fields of interest of my blog www.ll-dd.ch (in French).I am cooperator and member of the board of itopie, a non-profit cooperative that offers open, independent, IT services, that are respectful of people and environment. Itopie promotes free software and another way of using IT, more human oriented and committed to sustainable development.
