I am a current student of Curtin University, enrolled in a Honour's Degree in Physics with a keen interest in Astrophysics. I am fortunate enough to be given opportunities throughout this degree to develop skills in computer science, with units that have allowed me to become familiar with Python, C and Fortran.I completed my bachelor's degree with a distinction and continue my higher education through undertaking Honours and will aim to complete a post graduate research course. I am on track to complete this goal, by receiving four Letters of Commendation recognising high academic performance, awarded by the Dean of Science at Curtin University.I also work at the Gravity Discovery Center, in which I guide tours for a diverse range of audiences. During the day tours I educate varying ages of school groups about crucial discoveries in all fields of physics, whilst night tours allow for me to operate Celestron optical telescopes and describe a wide variety of astrophysical targets.I am passionate about gaining a deeper understanding for the universe around us, as well as developing communication skills to assist in the world of science communication.Email: scolliver1@gmail.com
