In addition to the content and SEO work I've done for my business, I've worked with organizations to reach their audiences and persuade them to take action.Most notably, I've worked with the manager of The Park Regent Apartments in Washington, DC, to develop a simple SEO-rich website to increase their SERP results and persuade potential renters to make appointments to tour the building.Additionally, I wrote a tenant association recruitment letter delivered to each unit of the Park Regent, resulting in more than the minimum number of residents required to form a tenant association. Additionally, I consulted with the tenant association president to create a website where tenants could join the tenant association and pay optional dues. Also related to the tenant association, I helped the president of the tenant association select and implement an email service as a way to communicate with the tenants. Specifically, we created a landing page where tenants could join and get on the list to become informed about events that affected the building. We also collaborated to create a Google group where tenants could communicate with each other. The creation of these avenues of communication resulted in a vibrant community and created an involved, supportive, and vibrant community within the building.

During my time at the Washington School Of Photography, an accredited school in Maryland, I enjoyed teaching various classes. From the basics to more advanced courses, including Introduction to photography, the business of photography, and lighting with portable flash.

Working as a freelance photography instructor at the Highland Park, NJ Department of Recreation was my first experience in developing class curriculum, and teaching and marketing my photography classes.

Working with the New York Times as a freelance photographer was a fantastic experience. I began by working with the editors in the New Jersey Weekly section, and over time I began working with the daily sections. Within a year or two of starting with the publication, I began calling daily in the morning to pitch stand-alone feature pictures or short photo essays ideas to the daily assignment editor. During this time I had over 500 published pieces in the New York Times.

Before my staff position at the News Tribune, I worked with the daily news publication as a freelancer. While working with the News Tribune, I photographed news, features, portraits, and sports. And even after being laid off from the staff job, I continued to freelance with the newspaper. The News Tribune was my first experience working with a daily newspaper.

The Somerset Press, later known as Forbes Newspapers, was my second client as a freelance photojournalist. I pitched story ideas and wrote captions and story summaries. Also, during this period, I was hired briefly as a staff photographer to fill in for someone who needed to take a three-month leave of absence.

This newspaper was my first experience working as a professional photographer/photojournalist. Beyond photography, I wrote caption information and provided written story summaries.
