Actively worked with a small team of students (Senior Peer Mentors (SPMs)) under the supervision of the Faculty of Sciences to facilitate, organize and run the ‘Sciences Student Peer Mentoring Program’ for first year Science students. Responsible for organizing and assigning first year students to appropriate second and third year mentors in groups ranging in size from 13 to 30 students. Responsible for organizing and running two training sessions for the mentors alongside the SPMs, including catering, paperwork organization and finding solutions to problems that arose before, during and after the training sessions. Responsible for facilitating conversation between the Adelaide University Union, its Student Clubs and the Faculty in regard to a variety of events hosted by the SPMs for the first year students.
