- Lead a team of 8 members;- Provide accounting support the several departments, legal, human resources and personal department, banks control and treasury, share service center (AP/AR), logistics and transports, sales management, insurance etc.;- Responsible for the closing and consolidation process and explain actual business performance versus operating plans;- Support the areas for definitions goals (forecast) in the next months;- Zero Based Budget (ZBB);- Ensure the maintenance of high quality internal controls (SOX Reports) and financial records;- Attend both external and internal auditors;- Provide accounting support to projects;- Prepare monthly the income statements comparative (actual vs budget/forecast) with comments for the provide management team with in-depth analysis and insights to support the decision making process;- Review the accounting reconciliations of the team and review accounting reconciliations of the other areas for improvement and quality;- Prepare the Statutory Financial Statements in accordance with the accounting standards adopted in Brazil.

- Coordinate and supervise the audit procedures in the field;- Manage the team and the client relationships and ensuring completion of the process within the initial budget and deadline - Risk assessments that cause material misstatements in the financial statements, whether caused by fraud or error; - Evaluate the internal control environment is adequate to present the financial statements;- Evaluate the accounting policies used and the reasonableness of the accounting estimates made by management, as well as the evaluation of the presentation of the financial statements; - Prepare the draft of audit reports, representation letters and interoffice memorandums;- Provide support for the discussion of audit main finds/ adjustments with the client senior management (IFRS and USGAAP);- Coach less experienced team members and review their work to ensure that all aspects of the audit process were covered.

- Provide accounting lab classes, simulate the daily routine of an accounting department, and payroll (Contmatic system);- Teach classes of general and professional ethics; - Coordinate and guide course completion and corporate/statutory accounting;- Prepare program and lesson plan for the Ministry of Education.
