Mechanical Engineer turned electrical.I am Problem solver at heart, more interested in learning how to do things the best (or most efficient) way than the fastest. My broad experiences have afforded me a wholistic perspective of problem solving that suits me well in a role now where I do something different almost every day. I hope to gain more specialization in automation applications in the workplace and impart those on customers.

From 2020 to 2022, I was personally responsible for many modifications to the vehicle including:- Created a thermal model of the IC Engine cooling loop using Simulink to predict radiator performance - Integrated the IC cooling loop- Assembled and modified the high voltage junction box- 3D printed custom loom to chasis constraints - Integrated custom PCB for CAN Logger and 3D printing housing The Georgia Tech EcoCAR team won the competition in 2022 for the first time and was the only vehicle to beat the efficiency of the original Blazer. -
Engineering InternWater4 May 2021 - Jul 2021Oklahoma City, Ok, UsI was able to have an incredibly unique experience where I was able to use my engineering education to help Water4 in their journey to bring clean water to individuals in Sierra Leone. I was responsible for understanding and documenting the functionality of the water kiosks made in Sierra Leone so the documents could be used as an installation reference across western Africa. I was also able to complete initial design work for a gravity-fed, solar-powered water filtration system which would increase Water4's service population by 33% in the country of Sierra Leone. This project entailed surveying the water source with minimal equipment and determining electrical, water storage, and piping needs. Along with the projects, I was able to learn much about the culture of Sierra Leone and I learned how to "talk Krio small small" or talk a little of the native language Krio. -

Mechanical Engineering InternFulghum Industries, Inc. May 2019 - Jul 2020Wadley, Ga, UsDuring the summer of 2019 and 2020, I worked as an engineering intern for David Stine at Fulghum Industries.During the first summer after my freshmen year of college, I was primarily responsible for calculating structural loading ratings for different specific installations. I was also responsible for implementing load automation sheets for these calculations using Microsoft excel. I also updated AutoCAD drawings to ANSI standards, which will be used as a standard. I was also able to integrate workflow software to improve task tracking and efficiency. In the next summer, I was given more responsibility. I was tasked with completing a root-cause failure analysis of a new log grapple design and generating retrofitted and original redesigns. I created 3 Solidworks redesigns using parts rated for 45 tons. I also got the chance to perform physics calculations for the justification of the design of woodchippers and the 170' 45-ton crane.
