Global Collection Merchandising Manager
CurrentResponsible for connecting the creative and financial product requirements through strategic range planning and defining the strategy and priorities for the collection. Collection: - Plan cohesive and balanced collections that reflect the creative & product direction, respond to consumer/regional demands and ensure the highest potential ROI.- Strategize with local markets to identify market needs & analyze performance of previous seasons in order to make tactical recommendations for increased profitability and new collection development- Full range planning of New Season and Permanent collections.- Be involved by the product and development team from design to official buying- Coordinate collections to be launched at strategic moments within the year with communication, digital, marketing and retail. - Create the Merchandising overview and collaborate with Communication, Marketing and Supply Chain to plan all assortments and build the product launch plan.Seasonal Forecast:- Identify a strategy per collection in terms of product mix and average price.- Manage the forecast calendar with the Collection Team, Supply Chain and regional teams- Lead regional buying during the planned timeline and define forecast and buying calendar for HQ and regions- Support efficiency improvement by analyzing processes and best practices to optimize the buying process for internal and external partners.
