As a Lecturer in the graduate program for engineering leadership, Dinnar is focused on collaboratively designing and teaching graduate courses on leadership and negotiation. The Program for Engineering Leadership was established at the MIT School of Engineering to educate and develop the character of outstanding MIT students as potential future leaders. Dinnar has directed the Entrepreneurial Negotiation Project as part of the MIT Science Impact Collaborative research team since 2015, focusing on the factors that cause entrepreneurial efforts to fail or succeed. Together with Professor Larry Susskind, Dinnar published a Negotiation Journal article and the 2019 award-winning book Entrepreneurial Negotiation (Palgrave Macmillan). Dinnar teaches the popular MIT course 11.259 Entrepreneurial Negotiation that incorporates the book's findings and ideas, educating current and future generations of entrepreneurs.Dinnar also serves as an industry advisor and facilitator of the Catalyst innovation review sessions, where a vibrant multi-stakeholder community collaborates across disciplines to increase the impact of biomedical research by catalyzing the creation of startups that address proven clinical needs. Dinnar’s recent focus has been on technology and AI in negotiation, and in teaching negotiation, especially when including multiple parties and platforms. Dinnar is a PON Instructor who teaches workshops to executives, lawyers, and government officials at Harvard, Online, and around the globe in locations such as London, Athens, Mexico City, Nicosia, Tel Aviv, Aarhus, and Milan. Dinnar helped to develop and taught the first new PON Global in 2016. This innovative, blended-learning intensive course brings the training of the Program on Negotiation (PON) to many cities around the world, providing participants with cutting-edge negotiation skills, teaching them how to overcome emotional and rational biases, and helping them practice a range of cooperative and competitive negotiation strategies. Dinnar has been a collaborative developer and teacher of many in-person executive programs on mediation, negotiation and leadership, since 2012. Among them are the popular courses Mediating Complex Disputes, Advanced Mediation, Program on Negotiation Global, and the Negotiation Master Class. In 2020, Dinnar researched and lectured on technology in teaching negotiation online. In addition to founding Corporate Development and carrying out major merger and acquisition activities, over nearly a decade, Dinnar led many strategic negotiations and relationships, participated in and facilitated strategic discussions, launched and managed various internal business development initiatives, external growth and entrepreneurial ideas. He also led strategy and execution of of program to face the challenges of rapid growth, market disruptions, and market financial crisises, by conducting RFP’s, securing financing, managing very large complex commercial disputes and renegotiating agreements (production, development and licensing).These activities have contributed tens of millions of Dollars of incremental profit.
