An ambitious and hard-working BSc (Hons) Biomedical Science student with a passion for science and innovation. I have excellent written and verbal communication, planning, organisational and time management skills, as well as analytical and problem-solving skills. I was delighted to make the Dean's List in 2021-22 and 2022-23 for outstanding academic achievement in both my first and second years of my degree. Through my academic and work-related experience to date, I have shown the ability to work under pressure and use my initiative. I possess strong team working skills, but can quickly gain independence to work individually on tasks where directed. My industrial placement with Almac Discovery has given me valuable professional and project management experience and has allowed me to develop a wide range of lab-based research skills to include cell culture, CRISPR, SDS-PAGE and Western blotting.
