Samuel Douek is the founder & director of the Hola Mexico Film Festival, the largest Mexican Film Festival outside of Mexico. The festival takes place yearly in Los Angeles, bringing more than 10,000 people a year with 30+ films, many of them doing premiers. The festival is attended by the biggest celebrities from Mexico including directors, actors and producers. He is also the director of Hola Mexico Distribution; a company dedicated to distribute Mexican films attracting an Art House market with crossover to the latino market in USA. Samuel Douek has multiple connections in the Mexican film industry along with the US Hispanic entertainment market. After a bachelors in Marketing at the Anahuac University in Mexico City, he worked for Sony Music Entertainment and Nike in their marketing departments. Then, he moved to Sydney Australia where he finished a Masters of Management in Event Management. In Australia, Samuel founded the Hola Mexico Film Festival which is now held yearly in Los Angeles, Australia and has played in other countries.
