About Samuel Richardson, Mgm

People are my passion. I feel fulfilled when I help people build relationships based on mutual understanding. Because of that, I am a communicator, relationship builder, team player, and team leader.During my time as a missionary, I learned success in business, government, our personal lives, and all other aspects of the world come from being able to form good, strong relationships with those around us. This led me to study public relations and strategic communications at Brigham Young University-Idaho.Upon graduating from BYU-Idaho, I made my way to Washington D.C., where I worked in the U.S. Department of State, the White House, and the U.S. Department of Transportation. Through these experiences, I learned how to take initiative and lead out on large projects, present to high-level executives, and bring different, seemingly conflicting, ideas together into one solution. Now I am excited to have graduated from Thunderbird School of Global Management where I learned about the intricate details of businesses, finance, the Fourth Industrial Revolution, and how to manage them effectively.I am very adept at taking big tasks, breaking them up, and leading a team to accomplish them. I know that nothing ever goes as planned, but it is the ability to see the end goal and adapt that leads to success.Besides working and my career, I love the outdoors! One of my favorite activities is trail running, and I have run a 55k (34 miles) race in Arizona. I love learning about new cultures and can speak Vietnamese and Chinese (just a little). And when I am not busy on the weekend, I like finding a new recipe, making it for family and friends, and feeling like I should have my own cooking show.I am ready to go out into the world, work with people, build relationships, and have fun with it!Specialties:• Leadership and Project Management• Global Relations and Affairs• Business Management• Event Organization and Management• Public Relations and Digital Campaign Creations• Computer skills (Word, Powerpoint, Excel, Publisher, Photoshop, Illustrator, and InDesign)
