I am a young man of 25 years from Italy. My career started in my hometown of Palermo, in Sicily at the age of 13. By alternating work with the school, I was able to start making my first experiences in the kitchen and pastry sector. Once I finished my schooling at the hotel school in Palermo, I acquired a professional certificate as an operator for accommodation facilities that lasted 2 years. Later I started working full time in several pastry shops located in the same city. But inside me I felt the need to find work outside Sicily. So I started working in a tourist village in Calabria where I stayed for 3 months. After the season I moved to Rome where I lived there for two years, and I got to be able to grow in my work, bringing with me all my experiences and having the opportunity to make new ones. The experience gave me the opportunity to be noticed by some people who pushed me to find a job in dubai, where I received a few job offers in a short time, including: Il Borro Tuscan Bistro Dubai, where I still work today. In this wonderful environment I learned a lot about dining, and how to serve a dessert dish. In fact, thanks to the executive chef Maurizio Bosetti (best chef 2017/18) and Fulvio Opalio, I have grown both as a person and as a job position. Thanks to them, we were lucky enough to win several prizes in different newspapers. Including the "whats on" and "Time out" magazines where we won prizes as best restaurant UEA and best italian restaurant 2017/18. What else to say .... My desire is to bring my Italian origins and my experiences into new places to share them together with other people who do my same job and learn as much as possible in this fantastic world of cooking and of pastry.
