3Rd Battalion Parachute Regiment

Operational Logistics Management, Afghanistan 2010 – 2011Selected to manage and maintain large scale of high value equipment store with full accountability for all equipment worth over 1 million pounds. This would also include personal equipment, bedding, batteries, safety equipment to high tech equipment, night vision and radios. Ensured effective resource management and co-ordination of scheduling ready for long range re-supply to troops at check points. This would include distributing the right amount of cold/hot food and large amounts of water, the right amount was crucial to match the number of personal at each check point. Managed a large scale operation to ensure all equipment worth over 1 million was accounted, cleaned and boxed ready to be moved from Afghanistan to the UK.Section commander 2007 - 2010Conducted a 2 month course to qualify for teaching new recruits to a high standard of training, this would include personal administration to basic military survival.Recommended and conducted a training command course and subsequently trained over 40 personnel back at HQ over a numerous of days.Deployed to Afghanistan as a team leader based in Kandahar Airfield and was involved in numerous high intensity strike operations in the south of the country including the largest security and coalition operation to move a power turbine to the Kajaki Dam. Selected to be the face of British forces part of a 5 man team working closely with Slovakian Special Forces.

1St Battalion Irish Guards

Responsible for training 50 Iraqi servicemen in soldiering skills, ensuring that each soldier passed required standards by conducting 1-2-1 and remedial coaching. Selected as Specialist Team Commander and deployed to defend key Iraqi police station in Basra, under direct orders from Lt Col. Conducted covert and reconnaissance operations working with a lynx helicopter team to conduct airborne takings. This would include information logging to identify any new changes, all documents had to be 100% correct as these would be used in future British Operations.Supported the Police Service Northern Ireland in security and maintaining the peace, conducted numerous public order operations. Selected and passed a specialist course with a pass rate of 15% , the course taught how to work alone and self motivate with the minimum equipment in multi environments.
