About Sam D.

I am an accomplished and results-driven sustainability professional with over five years of experience working with communities to identify unsustainable systems, analyze those systems, and create comprehensive solutions to address their needs. In my military career, I learned how to effectively engage with underserved communities and assist in providing them with greater access to opportunities. I applied the skills I learned in the military with compassion to bring value to programs that assisted underserved communities during my studies and while working in affordable housing. An interest in policy that reflects the voices and values of historically excluded groups prompted me to pursue another way to approach the issues I care about. My pursuit led me to proudly serve as the Campaign Manager for the Democratic candidate for Maricopa County Recorder, Tim Stringham and to briefly support the slate of candidates at the County level. Now, I am ready for the opportunity to venture into new professional territory, and looking forward to the experiences yet to come.
