I'm a current student at Indiana University pursuing an informatics degree. In 2021, I graduated from Franklin Central High School with FC Honors, which includes an Academic Honors Degree. While there, I ran cross country and track and field. During my time in athletics, I acquired four letters in cross country and one in track and field. Being a four-year varsity athlete shaped me to become a strong leader. These are looked at as individual sports, but there is so much trust that you must have in your team for them to win. This taught me how important trust is when working with people.My most recent employment is as a probation officer assistant. This position doesn't have much to do with my career, but my time working for Monroe County has taught me a lot of things and has further strengthened my inherent abilities which include problem-solving skills, fast-paced and high-pressure scenarios, attention to detail, and a handful of others. This experience has also shown the importance of collaboration as we work closely with our supervisor, probation officers, and clients.My current plan is to continue with my informatics degree with a cognate business. I hope to explore internship opportunities that will help me gain real-world experiences and skills that will benefit me along with the companies I work for down the road. After graduating, I hope to have built great skills to give value to wherever it may take me.
