Job Description: Responsible for 35 million in Spend in DR Fluids across multiple plant locations. Responsible for Subcontract materials between EU and USA managing of all inventory and order placement. Providing status to various stake holders within the organization Places purchasing orders for goods and services needed in support of a manufacturing facility, and managing supplier relationships to optimize supply chain efficiency.Monitors inventory/stock levels to support production and inventory goals.Issues material purchase orders to support production. Identifies and resolves potential supply problems.Actively manages workflow in SAP system.Works with appropriate parties to resolve invoice issues to minimize overdue invoices and ensure supply availability.Evaluate stocking levels and adjust to meet the needs of the business.Ensures products/services get delivered on time and meet quality standards.Work with scheduling team to process expedites as necessary to support production.Introduce and manage efficiencies through effective purchasing.Participates in supplier audits / Business Reviews.Monitors cost, schedule, and scope of assigned subcontracts.May assist with forecasting/MPS.Complies with commercial certification programs and applicable safety requirements.Maintains files and records related to purchasing activities.Process RTV’s (return to vendor) for damage goods, incorrect items sent, goods not meeting Bio-Rad specifications.Provide Packaging to Multiple sites in and around the San Francisco Bay Area. Source and manage suppliers providing support to NPI projects and resolving A/P issues in SAP.Manage a 15 million Spend on various types of Packaging and services related to packaging. Build and maintain strategic relationships to maximize value.Provide leadership and mentoring to new and existing Buyers in the organization. Lead team meetings and conduct audits to maintain quality objectives.

Responsibilities:EXPERT in SAP Planning, contributes SAP EXPERIENCE and broad business SUPPLY CHAIN KNOWLEDGE to the implementation team.Supplemented the plants Local Implementation Team PP Leader on the project, completing assigned project activities, primarily in areas of Data Clean-up, Process Documentation, Test Script Development, Process Integration Testing, Training Documentation Preparation, Super-User and End-User Training Delivery, Master Data Mapping and Validation, and post go-live hyper-care support to End-Users.Contributes SAP TRANSACTIONAL and MASTER DATA expertise in the areas of production and materials planning, providing guidance and support to the Local Implementation Team PP Leader.Contributed SAP EXPERIENCE and broad business SUPPLY CHAIN KNOWLEDGE to the implementation team.Participated in cross-functional business process definition and documentation in SAP to effectively meet business needs and provide input to strategic decisions that affect the functional area of responsibility.Contributed to Test Script preparation and participates in Process Integration Testing Cycles.Supported the timely data clean-up and mapping activity for parts and vendors in the transition from Legacy ERP system to SAP, and validation of data in SAP.

As a Buyer Planner I was part of the Metal Fabrication Team tasked with Qualifying and Managing suppliers specializing in Metal Fabrication. Oracle Super User. In this function I was responsible for the day to day purchase of all MFG and Non MFG materials per MRP outputs. Solely responsible for MRP data integrity and Inventory accuracy using Oracle ERP. Backed up Materials Manager on daily basis.
