👨🏽💻I work since I was 15 (2007), firstly to work for the general interest, and secondly - its corollary - to fight against the share of private interests in our society. For me, this means first and foremost a peaceful and just society. One cannot exist without the other, since there can be no Peace without Justice. 🚀 16 years later, in September 2023, I'm looking for new collective solutions for social and environmental justice, with the help of my strategy consulting agency for impact organizations (Papillon) and a new NGO in the making (Protectors). 🎓 Having passed through La Sorbonne, Cambridge and EPHE, I joined Sciences Po as a teacher in 2018. I have a BAFA, an IELTS and other certifications that have taught me a lot: Ashoka, One Young World or the Academy of Future Leaders (AFL). 💪🏼 To contribute to my "realistic utopia" of Justices, I've tried popular education (2009), writing (2015), social entrepreneurship (2016), teaching (2018), activism (2021) and even politics (2022).💴 My first profession was music. I taught piano and guitar for 6 years from 2007 to 2013 at a rate of 6-8 students a year. This enabled me to launch Coexister by first paying my colleagues for the first 3 years. 📚 I've written 3 books - 1 essay and 2 testimonials - and contributed to a dozen others. From l'Atelier to Les Arènes, I changed publishers without changing my ideas, and I defend my vision of the world based on living together in equality. No peace without justice. No justice without peace. I'm preparing my next book for January 2024 with Vauvert Editions. ✊🏽 A multi-recidivist, I co-founded Coexister in 2009, InterFaith Tour in 2012, Convivencia in 2015, Enseignants de la Transition in 2018, la Primaire Populaire in 2021 and Protectors in 2023. 🗺 My main passion outside my commitments is history, cartography and terroirs; while reading L'Équipe every day and watching the Vendée Globe every 4 years! 📬 samuel@protectors.org

The NGO acts as a horizontal federation between member associations. The GIYM is mainly supported by the Hippocrene Foundation, which promotes European integration and its motto "Unity in diversity". I founded this NGO in October 2021 after the failed attempt at a vertical association Coexister Europe and the top-down spin-off project. Today, we prefer a bottom-up version focused on advocacy. -

J’ai 14 ans, je vis deux expériences d’éducation populaire pendant l’été qui achèvent de me convaincre qu’il n’est pas trop tôt pour s’engager. En France, le rôle de Nicolas Sarkozy en politique exacerbe la violence sociale. Argenteuil est menacée d’être passée au Karcher, et les quartiers populaires se remettent à peine des émeutes de 2005. Devant mon lycée un contrôle au faciès vise à humilier une dizaine de lycéens arabes devant des centaines d’autres d’origine bourgeoise. En contestant ce contrôle je subis ma première garde à vue au commissariat du VIe. Dans le XVe où je vis, le Samusocial demande de l’aide pour marauder autour du champs de Mars et veiller sur les sans-abris du quartier en offrant café, biscuits mais surtout un suivi de l’état de santé et un accompagnement pour récupérer son RMI. Je m’inscris comme bénévole et cette expérience sera le début de cycles d’engagements et de militantismes, plus ou moins politisés en fonction des époques. Les rencontres de la rue seront fondatrices pour moi et laisseront une trace indélébile quant à la nécessité de protéger la dignité humaine.
